well i thought there were 31 days of june so this is already a little weird for me, but happy end of pride month. im a loser and i dont go outside so pride month usually is pretty awesome and fun for me. its my time to really browse the internet for gay stuff. um also hi im poop sorry i forgot this is literally my first blog. for context umm my name is poop and its really nice to meet you. haha like pinkpantheress kinda. pinkpootheress even. ok and now im moving on.

this month i watched 13 pride movies. most of them are actually about lgbtq experiences and whatnot and then at the end of the month i was like okay lets throw in trolls 1 and 3 just for fun. this is my idea of pride. i really wanted to watch more transgender movies because i just feel like that's where i am in life right now but i kind of didn't. i guess i have the rest of the year though no need to limit myself to #june. but it was a pretty satisfying set of movies i feel like. i'll list out the movies i watched and link my reviews to them offsite (letterboxd/serializd)

i like when gay movies (or maybe movies in general) get really creepy and icky rather than going in that more clean minimalistic sort of direction. in lesbian circle jerk we've got that sort of maximalist, bloody, gooey feeling. it reminded me a bit of jyomon rashomon & sanzo-hoshi, where there were a lot of hand-crafted set items, dolls, and penises. i think there's also maybe a clay or otherwise penis in the movie nekromantic, towards the end? i'm learning that i think i'm a fan of that sort of thing. if i made a short film or a movie or whatever i'd really like to have a clay penar involved that leaks or twitches or bleeds does something crazy. i've been very inspired. in fact i think i could make a whole blog post of its own about this subject and maybe i will at some point.

-ingrid goes west. who cares. vaguely lesbian vaguely bisexual but it doesn't mean anything. also i just kind of don't like this movie very much anymore i'm so sorry LOL. um she's influencer wannabe and she's crushing on girls all the time is what goes on here. moving on.

-love wedge/ai no kusabi. not new but i watched half with gib so isn't that something special.

-and then i watched trolls and trolls band together with my family which is awesome and, if you think about it, very prideful. i love trolls. they're all gay really. especially poppy. who is my favorite. she's gay.

shows: i also watched a few episodes of hunter x hunter (which i've barely started but feels very gay in many ways), rewatched a few episodes of a half man (oh my god i love half man), one what we do in the shadows episode (it's been a while, but it was gay as always), rewatched the entirety of baby reindeer (and cried like crazy), watched some episodes of hollyoaks (always pretty consistently gay, especially where i'm at), and rewatched some solar opposites (gay aliens of course).

comics: then i also caught up fully in the unchanged man manhwa, which i think i'm kind of liking maybe? toxic yaoi is my thing they tell me. i caught up fully in the boy and the wolf manhwa too, but i think i kind of hated that. it sucked sorry. on the topic of reading, i read a bit of closer by dennis cooper, too, but really not a lot. it's already a short book but i move so slowly. it seemed awesome so far.

games: i also did a lot of gay tomodachi life stuff this month. randy and benson from the passenger got married in there this month. maybe i'll make a blog post about tomodachi life sometime. oh my god and i almost forgot but me and my friends completed the noiz "good' route for the first time together. umm it kind of sucked why'd they uglify noiz. it was very fun though i love to play gay games with my friends. i think this month i also got one or two new room no. 9 routes unlocked. i'm moving very slowly through these games i like to take my time. i think this month i also did kousuke's route in togainu no chi and got like 90% through rin's route but i kind of walked away before getting the achievement. i don't like rin very much sorry. um and also played telltale batman with a friend, and that was gay in a few different ways. obviously. it's batman.

all in all, i think i had a pretty umm fun pride month. i still have never been to a pride parade and i barely went outside at all, but it was pretty fun anyway. i love to watch movies and shows and read comics and books and do nothing else all day because i am unemployed. umm. okay so thanks see you around.
